Flamenco has been present in Madrid since its first steps. In its cafés cantantes and especially in its tablaos, fundamental chapters in the history of flamenco have been written.

Flamenco was present in Madrid from its first steps. The Andalusian styles that arrived in the capital quickly caught on among the Madrilenians whose way of life was already popular songs and dances.

 

The cafés-singers and theaters in Madrid saw the growth of the genre, important companies were created baile and with the birth and proliferation of the tablaos in the mid-twentieth century the capital became an important center of attraction and dissemination of flamenco. A fundamental role in the history of this genre that is still alive with a great stage offer.
