Christmas arrives at Madrid's tablaos

First bar

Christmas transforms the city of Madrid into a vibrant stage where flamenco takes on a special glow. The tablaos of the Association of Flamenco Tablaos of Madrid celebrate this time of year with events that combine intimacy, emotion, and the talent of great artists, becoming refuges where you can share the art of flamenco just a few feet from the stage. In an atmosphere full of lights, history, and magic, each venue invites the audience to enjoy an experience that will remain in their memory for a long time to come.

This week, we encourage you to delve deeper into cante jondo, that visceral expression that defines the deepest essence of flamenco, in one of the videos from our Flamencopedia, the platform we have created in collaboration with the region's tablaos so that you can enjoy your next visit to the region's tablaos to the fullest.

Flamenco on stage: the Christmas spirit lights up the tablaos

Each venue presents performances where established artists and new voices come together, creating evenings full of emotion and a sensitivity that fits in with the magic of the season. From New Year's Eve galas to flamenco zambombas, festive dinners and the presence of top-level artists, Christmas becomes an opportunity to enjoy flamenco in its most intimate, authentic and memorable form.
