Summer is a season that suits Madrid particularly well. Its long days with heart-stopping sunsets at ten o'clock at night make Madrid's nights totally irresistible to go out and experience its wide cultural offer, which is still alive and on fire, also at this time of the year.

And, as every summer, this year also takes place in Madrid the Veranos de la Villa festival, this time celebrating its 39th edition and with China as guest country. From July 5 to August 27 in Madrid you can enjoy a multitude of cultural and leisure proposals, about two hundred, in 29 spaces throughout the city, which is soon to say, and with 50% of them free access.

Flamenco, our Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, could not be left out of this wide-ranging proposal. Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity with more art, and that you can enjoy at any time of the year in our tablaos in our tablaos.

Here we tell you about the flamenco shows that you can not miss this year in Veranos de la Villa:

1. Blood Wedding and Flamenco Suite

The Compañía Antonio Gades, stylistic and choreographic heir of the legendary creator, opens the festival program with this unavoidable reference to the world of dance that consecrates flamenco as a dramatic language capable of telling stories, becoming a disseminator of the work of Federico García Lorca at the highest level.
