The III International Castanet Competition, held as part of the XI International Castanet Festival and directed by Teresa Laiz, brings together at Teatro Flamenco Madrid international semi-finalists in a gala where they compete in the categories of Concert, Accompaniment and Composition. The jury will select four finalists and the winner of Composition, while the gala will feature a special performance by Mexican dancer Jenaro Sosa, winner of the previous edition.
