From July 13 to 19, the Tablao de la Villa presents a particularly compelling week of performances featuring Belén López and José Carmona “Rapico” as dancers—two artists with a powerful stage presence whose work allows the program to be built around contrast, energy, and interpretive depth. The combination of these two artists turns every performance into an opportunity to experience different approaches to flamenco dance, ranging from the power of the compás to the subtleties of nuance and expression.
Rafita de Madrid will provide the vocals throughout the week, with Juan Motos performing from July 13–16 and Juañarito Carrasco from July 17–19, bringing a natural evolution to the vocal tone of the performances. Carlos Jiménez on guitar and “El Chispas” on percussion round out a program with great musical depth, designed to immerse the audience in an intense, intimate, and pulsating tablao experience.
