José Carmona “Rapico” and Cynthia Cano headline a night in which dance interacts with the rhythm of a particularly well-rounded ensemble. Kilino Jiménez brings a precise and open touch to the guitar accompaniment, while Salvador Barrul and José Jiménez support the singing with power and nuance.

Felipe Maya’s percussion and Fernando Rico’s violin expand the ensemble’s texture, taking the performance toward a roots-based flamenco that also allows itself to breathe with breadth and sonic richness.
