Corral de la Morería

Considered the most famous tablao flamenco in the world, Corral de la Morería is also the only Michelin-starred theatre space on the planet.

It was inaugurated in 1956 and, since then, receives and produces shows with figures of the highest level of singing, dancing and guitar. The Del Rey family, children of the founder and bailaora Blanca del Rey, are behind this temple that hosts every night the living history of a culture in continuous movement.

Visited by John Lennon, Jennifer Anniston or Nicole Kidman, selected in the book '1000 places you have to see before you die' and awarded with National Flamenco and Gastronomy Awards, three Repsol Suns, a Michelin Star and the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts for Blanca del Rey, Corral de la Morería means history and future.

It opened before the heyday of tablaos, in 1956, and established the canon to follow. For more than 65 years it has functioned as a creative engine, receiving Paco de Lucía to present the mythical album "Entre dos aguas", as well as other great artists such as La Paquera, Mario Maya, Jesús Carmona, Eduardo Guerrero or Belén López.

El Corral de la Morería is committed to excellence on stage and in the kitchen, with top-level artists and in-house production shows, as well as an artistic emporium in which the performing arts advance. In this way, the public receives choreographies and unpublished music through the hands, bodies and voices of the most notable artists of contemporary flamenco, such as Jesús Carmona, Patricia Guerrero or Manuel Liñán.

With a seating capacity of 140 people arranged in tables with good visibility, its award-winning cuisine is led by the prestigious chef David Garcia to offer the visitor a complete experience. Flamenco in an intimate space with an excellent wine cellar and dishes that produce synesthesia, combining art with a myriad of flavors.
