Tablao La Quimera

Located next to Madrid's famous Plaza Mayor, La Quimera is an intimate tablao famous for its shows featuring nationally and internationally renowned artists.

Its informal and relaxed atmosphere conquers an audience that is usually welcomed by the owner himself, Antorrín Heredia, a genuine Andalusian in love with traditional singing and baile . Without microphones or additional technical equipment to the voice and guitar, purity and duende are assured values in their performances. Improvisation also adds authenticity to unforgettable evenings that are extended in his Sala Rociera.

The essence of masters, dances and forgotten songs are brought every day to La Quimera, a tablao with 16 years of history that defends the roots of flamenco through the visceral delivery of the artists, without script or structural composition. The emotion and the feeling of the artists, what many call duende, reigns supreme in a tablao whose lighting and acoustics have a flamenco soul. It is a space that recovers the feeling of a traditional bar or restaurant, creating the perfect atmosphere for a night of flamenco with friends or family.

In addition to its small tablao, where impressive shows are performed every day, there is a rociera room that presents rociero appetizers from 12:00 to 17:00 in the afternoon and at night it is open until after five in the morning. Lovers of Andalusian culture will feel at home from the moment they walk in the door. Fandangos, tangos and bulerias mix with live performances, sevillanas and rumbas. In addition, those who attend the show can enjoy a menu consisting of starters, a second course to choose from, two drinks and dessert. The menu includes dishes such as Spanish omelette, codfish "a la vizcaína" or the famous paella.
