Teatro Flamenco Madrid is proposed as a unique, intimate and cozy space in which emotions spring up in a meeting point that usually brings together flamenco lovers and enthusiasts. 'Emociones' is the title of the show that is performed every day of the year in two one-hour sessions in which the strength and greatness of flamenco are assured thanks to the commitment of top-level artists.
In the heart of the Malasaña neighborhood, Teatro Flamenco Madrid offers a unique experience in what has become the first theater dedicated exclusively to flamenco in the world. Born in September 2017 at the Teatro Alfil facilities, it has a daily program that includes guitarists and singers who have worked in international companies.
The public can take a tour of all the styles of flamenco through the three basic pillars of the genre: the guitar, the cante and the baile. Leading the project is Javier Andrade, who has been dedicated to the Cristina Hoyos Flamenco Dance Museum in Seville for more than a decade.
Teatro Flamenco Madrid is one of the largest venues in the capital to enjoy the rhythms, dances and emotions of an art declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Feeling the real duende in a mythical show center of the city is possible in a building divided into two floors with an area of 300 square meters, and can accommodate up to 220 people.
The artistic direction of guitarist Antonio Andrade and bailaora Úrsula Moreno ensure a quality show in a program where you can enjoy a drink or even dinner, with special prices for students and retirees, flamenco cycles and even classes taught by professionals.
