Torres Bermejas

Located a few steps from the Plaza del Callao and the famous Gran Via, Torres Bermejas has become a temple of flamenco on its own merits.

In a space that reproduces in its decoration the beautiful halls of the Alhambra in Granada, you can enjoy an artistic group, formed by about twenty musicians of national and international renown. We are also talking about the only tablao in Madrid where the great Camarón de la Isla performed and where his friendship with Paco de Lucía was born.

To bet on Torres Bermejas is to bet on a space in which to enjoy a show that begins with traditional flamenco to go through the different palos of the genre, from the soleá to the alegría, to the seguiriya and the martinete. Thousands of flamenco lovers visit every year Torres Bermejas, which was founded in 1949 under the name of La Taberna Gitana, becoming one of the first tablaos in the capital. It experienced its most successful moments in the mid-fifties, under the direction of the cantaor Mariano Sevilla. After two years of closure, in 1960 it reopened under its current name. Great artists such as Manolo Caracol, Mario Maya and Chato de la Isla have performed there.

The show is accompanied by different drink options and set menus featuring avant-garde and traditional recipes of typical Spanish cuisine. While it is possible to enjoy the show for a fixed price, you can also enjoy it with a drink, dinner a la carte or different menus, which offer from a selection of tapas to a vegetarian or halal option so that all types of audiences can feel comfortable and enjoy their gastronomy. You can even add an hour-long pre-show class to meet the dancers of the show and develop your skills!
