The Paseo del Prado, the Retiro Park and the neighborhood of Los Jerónimos make up the Paisaje de Las Artes y Las Ciencias, and you will find it very easy to walk around, since its proximity to our tablaos tablaos will allow you to walk there at the end of the day to enjoy a flamenco show.

The Landscape of Ligh has an exceptional universal value for which it has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2021. Touring it means immersing yourself in the history of art, urban planning, architecture and the interrelationship between man and nature. And, if you ask us, our perfect route would be something like this:

Oldest tree in Madrid. Parque del Retiro.

We would start the day with a walk through the Retiro Park, entering through the entrance of the Puerta de Alcalá, passing by its pond and its Crystal Palace, letting ourselves be carried away by its monuments and gardens, without forgetting to witness the grace and majesty of the oldest tree in Madrid, the ahuehuete del Parterre.

Afterwards, we would leave through the Puerta del Ángel caído, to go down the Cuesta de Moyano and browse its picturesque wooden stalls dedicated to books, until we reached the Paseo del Prado, with the Royal Botanical Garden on the corner. Here we would choose from among three magnificent museums: the National Prado Museum the National Museum-Thyssen Bornemisza and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía to satiate our appetite for art.

Quique Dacosta's dish at Deessa, the gastronomic restaurant of the Mandarin Oriental Ritz Hotel, with two Michelin stars.

After dining at some of the best restaurants in the area, such as the award winning Deessa Quique Dacosta's award-winning Deessa at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, the sunny terrace of Murillo Café or the amazing Mexican Barracuda MX of Roberto Ruiz and stroll a little, we would walk along the Paseo del Prado in its entirety until we reach the neighborhood of the Jerónimos, to enjoy from the garden area between the Church of the Jerónimos and the Prado Museum the warm colors of the sunset with the Royal Spanish Academy, the Plaza de Neptuno, the hotels Mandarin Ritz y Westin Palace and the rooftops of the Barrio de las Letras as a backdrop.

Here we leave you a map where you will find all the points of interest so you don't miss a single one. Live the Paseo de la Luz!
