Summer ends with a lot of "olé, olé y olé".

Don't miss the opportunity to get to know flamenco in unimaginable ways.

Talking about Flamenco always predisposes: one begins to feel more animated, more joyful, more awake.... The music, the zapateado, the clapping, the cante... begin to resonate in the back of our mind. And this is quite normal, since the magic of flamenco lies precisely in its ability to open the senses, to captivate and enthrall us.

If you have also been captivated by flamenco this summer, and you have come to visit Madrid to discover it, here are the two proposals that you cannot miss at the Teatro Reina Victoria to complete your flamenco experience in Madrid.

1. Zarra

Experience flamenco and soccer, two of Spain's hallmarks, in the same show named after the emblematic striker of the Athletic Club de Bilbao soccer team, Telmo Zarraonandia, Zarra (1921-2006).

The choreographer and dancer Adriana Bilbao, Zarra's granddaughter, has created this work in tribute and recognition of her grandfather's sporting career, in which she combines dance and flamenco with sporting elements associated with soccer.

Enter the story of Telmo, who was the top scorer of the Spanish league for 60 years, six times top scorer and current top scorer of the Cup Championship. In it, his granddaughter wanted to highlight his greatness and emphasize the sporting and human values that made him a legend: he was a great finisher and an insatiable, noble and resounding striker... As his surname reveals: "ZARRAONANDIA", old (zahar), good (on) and great (handi).
