Madrid was and still is home to many flamenco artists. An indisputable meeting point for aspiring and veteran national and international artists who share the same bond: their passion for flamenco and their desire to cultivate, share and develop their talent.

And, although the tablaos flamencos are the main focus of attention of this art in the capital, we invite you to know one of the fundamental spaces that enrich the flamenco life in the city, the Centro de Arte Flamenco Amor de Dios, considered the best Flamenco School in the world.

Amor de Dios is an emblem of flamenco and Spanish dance since 1953, a historical reference in Madrid that this year celebrates its 70th anniversary. It is a school renowned for its method and for the artists it has produced, including Sara Baras, Belén Maya, Joaquín Cortés and Rafael Amargo.

Whether you want to get started in one of the different disciplines of flamenco or to specialize, at Amor de Dios you will find a deeply inspiring space. On the one hand, you can access the teachings of all the disciplines of flamenco art : Baile, Cante, Music and Flamencology.by signing up for one of their courses and, on the other hand, you can sign up for their intensive courses, (we recommend you to visit their Instagram profile where they announce them). In the school you can also visit a permanent exhibition where a tour of its history is made.

The teachers are artists with extensive knowledge and stage experience who practice free teaching, the same system with which the vast majority of the great artists of flamenco and Spanish dance have obtained their training. The intention is to foster the individual personality of each student and guide them to discover their own path.
